Ulbrich Specialty Strip Mill, located in Wallingford, CT. This is our premier strip coil manufacturing operation. Here you’ll find a full range of stainless steels and special metals, a battery of specialized equipment, and the know-how of a long established library of information.
We currently own 8 rolling mills of three different configurations: 1 high-tech advanced 20-High mill, 2 Four High mills (H-mill), and 6 Sendzimir mills (Z-mill), all properly equipped for precision rolling. Each mill is designed to give us different capabilities and flexibility.
Our eight controlled atmosphere annealing lines work in tandem with the rolling process to produce exacting metallurgical properties and finishes for a wide variety of applications. In addition to rolling and annealing, we have state-of-the-art finishing equipment as well. Coil cleaning, tension leveling, slitting, edging, and oscillate winding all play a role in making our products meet or exceed your expectations.
