Wallingford’s 350th Anniversary was originally planned for 2020 when Covid-19 was in full force. Finally, the time has come for Wallingford to come together and celebrate our history with the jubilee parade this Saturday, June 18th, and Ulbrich CEO Chris Ulbrich has been selected as the Grand Marshal!
Chris Ulbrich said,
“I'm honored, you know the town of Wallingford has been a great community for our company and I've lived here for a while and we’re going on 100-years-old in 2024.”
The parade will kick off at 1:30 PM, starting at Moses Y. Beach Elementary School and ends at Lyman Hall High School. Along the two-mile route will be about 2000 marchers and 125 organizations from the town participating. In the parade will be two Ulbrich floats, over 100 marchers including Ulbrich employees, family members, Ulbrich Community Outreach members, Ulbrich Boys & Girls Club Members, and a special surprise guest alongside Chris Ulbrich!
The Ulbrich Community Outreach team have been active members of the community for years. Philanthropic responsibility is a core value of Ulbrich. Building a strong community through programs such as the Ulbrich Boys & Girls Club will help create a better future for the town, its citizens, and beyond. Come see the Grand Marshal Chris Ulbrich and the Ulbrich team marching with pride at the 350th+2 Wallingford Jubilee!
