Stainless steel wire in the microscopic cross sections required for catheter-related diagnostic devices is now available from Ulbrich Precision Flat Wire LLC in widths as narrow as .0025 inch and thicknesses starting at .0003 inch. Tolerances of +/- .0001 inch are held for gauge , +/- .0003 inch for width.
These wire products are drawn from the highest quality domestic and imported grades of stainless steel rod and tempered through cold working to help you achieve the desired torque, column strength, and multiple curve capabilities required for these cutting edge applications.
We are acquainted with the diagnostic industry’s needs and have made the necessary investments to produce precision flat wire for braided steel shaft tubing and other rotating surgical devices.
