Ulbrich Steel Wins “Best Place to Work in Central Connecticut” for the Second Year in a Row
We are delighted to announce for the second consecutive year that Ulbrich was the winner of the 2020 Record Journal Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Employer (250-500 employees) in Central Connecticut! The virtual awards ceremony took place on October 29th and was hosted by famous late-night television personality, James Corden. Although the awards ceremony was virtual, it was still a great time full of laughs!
CEO, Chris Ulbrich, was elated with the news of this special honor, and recently stated,

Since the wake of the pandemic, Ulbrich employees working within our facilities and those who have been working from home have quickly adapted to all the new challenges presented by the coronavirus. In addition to their work responsibilities, Ulbrich employees came together in a big way to support local community efforts including the Ulbrich Boys & Girls Club and United Way of Meriden and Wallingford. These trying times highlight the importance of giving back and helping those around us and Ulbrich employees have certainly risen to the occasion.
