HEALTH PLAN CHOICES

Ulbrich offers employees plan choices in selecting their health plans, each offering various levels of coverage tailored to the employee's personal needs. All options include prescription drug coverage, hospitalization, diagnostic and preventative care. Coverage begins on the 1st of the month following hire date. Ulbrich pays a large percentage of the premium cost for this coverage and coverage is available to employees and their eligible family members.


DENTAL PLAN

Our flexible in and out-of-network dental plan pays for 100% of the reasonable and customary cost of preventive and diagnostic dental care. Basic restorative care is covered at 80% of the reasonable and customary cost, and major care coverage at 50% of the reasonable and customary cost. Coverage begins on the 1st of the month following hire date. Ulbrich pays a large percentage of the premium cost for this coverage and coverage is available to employees and their eligible family members.


LIFE AND AD&D

The life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance benefits are fully company-paid. This coverage becomes effective on the 1st of the month following hire date.


FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS

Advanced Benefit Strategies Flexible Spending Plan Accounts: This program enables employees to take advantage of recent laws that allow employees to reduce their taxable income and pay for eligible expenses with pre-tax dollars. Employees may elect this voluntary benefit to use for dependent care or health care expenses (or both). This plan follows IRS regulations governing eligibility and reimbursement rules, details of which may be provided upon request.


401(k) RETIREMENT SAVINGS PLAN

T. Rowe Price: Our 401(k) savings plan not only allows employees to save and invest in their retirement and also allows employees to save each year by reducing their annual taxable income. Best of all, Ulbrich will match the eligible employees contributions 25% on their first 5% of compensation they defer. Employees may elect to defer up to 60 % of annual compensation (subject to IRS maximums). Employees may elect a variety of T. Rowe Price funds to invest in and optimize their savings growth. Eligibility begins after 90 days of service.

New Non-elective Company Contribution: In addition to the 401(k) savings plan features mentioned above, Ulbrich will make an additional company contribution to the 401(k) savings plan even if you do not contribute to the plan. This company contribution, which ranges from 2-6% of your annual pay, will be made provided the employee works at least 1000 hours during the plan year and is employed on the last day of the year.


TUITION REIMBURSEMENT PLAN

Continuing education is a key part of our learning culture at Ulbrich Stainless Steels. Tuition costs, books and certain fees are reimbursed up to 100% depending on the grade received.


PAID TIME OFF

All full-time employees enjoy generous paid time off benefits including vacation, holidays and sick/personal time. Employees also receive pay for Bereavement Leave, and are paid the difference in pay for Jury Duty and Military Leave to ensure they continue to receive their normal base salary.


EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

All employees and members of their household are covered by this program which offers counseling services at no charge for assistance with financial, marital, parenting, substance abuse and other situations.


WELLNESS INITIATIVES

Ulbrich has introduced several wellness initiatives to encourage employees to adopt a healthier lifestyle. Programs have included health fairs, individual health assessments with a professional health coach, stop smoking programs, and Weight Watchers at Work. Many of the programs offer employees incentives and rewards for successes achieved.
