Shaped Wire & Custom Profiles

The versatility of our process allows Ulbrich Shaped Wire to produce custom designed cross-sections that provide added value to your products at a much lower cost than alternative manufacturing methods.

Long, narrow parts or formed parts have their critical design details in the cross section. Our ability to replicate those shapes in the wire rolling process can represent a significant cost saving.

By incorporating such design details as a groove or a step into the cross section, our process can reduce the number of machining, blanking, skiving, welding or other operations.

Wire shapes are produced in our ISO 9002 certified production facility in long, weld-free coils or cut-to-length, with dull or grease bright finish. We can provide product in 300 series, 400 series and precipitation hardening grades of stainless steel, as well as nickel based and titanium alloys and other metals.
